Supported living
Our specialist Supported Living services provide individually-tailored packages of support that enable people with a range of disabilities and complex needs, including mental health needs, to live independent lifestyles of their choosing. Service may, include access to education and employment.
We offer opportunities for patients to learn new skills, become more independent and try new experiences. As well as providing a full itinerary of in-house activities, such as craft sessions, music therapy or sensory sessions, we aim to encourage patients to become active members of the community. This could include using local shops and cafes on a regular basis, looking for volunteering opportunities and attending courses at local colleges and libraries.
Our aim is to empower individuals to make their own choices about how they live their lives, however offering the support to allow individuals to still do what they want when they want may be difficult. Our staff take the time and care to really get to know each person and to understand their needs, interests and goals. We provide the care and support which sees residents improve their wellbeing, independence and achieve their potential.
Our staff teams are expertise in supporting people with Autism and learning difficulty, behaviour support (PBS) specialists, sensory disorders and behaviours that may present a challenge.
